The Library has two Meeting Rooms available for non-profit organizations to use for a nominal fee. To be eligible to use either room, the person securing the room must have a valid Plainfield Library card in good standing.
Large Meeting Room
This room, located on the lower level, can comfortably seat up to 65 people in chairs or 40 people seated at tables.
Small Meeting Room
This room, located on the main level, has a seating capacity of 16.
In order to reserve one of the above rooms, please read through and agree to the Library’s Meeting Room policy, if you and your organization meet the criteria for use. Once you have clicked on I agree, you will be able to check the availability and place your reservation, which requires a non-refundable $25.00 fee, payable within 72 hours of your reservation request.
The Library has ONE study room, located on the lower level. This study room, with a maximum capacity of four people, is available on a strictly first-come, first-serve basis, for Plainfield cardholders only. Reservations are not accepted for this room. Use is limited to two hours per day. The Library’s Meeting Room policy prohibits use of this room by tutors and businesses, including but not limited to, conducting training, interviews or meetings.
