    Community Invited to Library Expansion Meeting October 8

    The community is invited to the next expansion planning meeting for the Plainfield Public Library, taking place on Thursday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Plainfield Township Community Center, 15014 S. Des Plaines St. in Plainfield. Attendees will get to see design concepts for the expansion and provide feedback. The results from this meeting will be brought to the Library Board of Trustees.

    Library, REACh to Host Adult Education Fair Oct. 24

    Colleges and universities will be at the Library on Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 a.m. to noon for the Adult Education Fair. Attendees can talk one-on-one with college representatives and find out how they can complete their degree either traditionally or online. Scholarship information will also be available.

In order to improve the service, the vendor is conducting interviews during one hour time slots on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15 at the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) office in Burr Ridge.
