What's New at Your Library

National Library Week: April 13-19 Lives Change @ your Library

We've got changes and life-changing good things! This week, the Library is unveiling its new logo, which you can see on signs, the website, the newsletter and on our new library cards. Everyone can get a life-changing library card this week! Exchange your old card or replace a lost or missing card at no cost! We'll have great give-aways at each service desk this week showcasing our new logo.

Change lives by doing something for others in need in our community, participate in Food for Fines. In exchange for each item of non-perishable food you bring in, the Library will waive up to $1.00 in fines. You don't have to have fines to make a difference either--cash donations are always accepted. All proceeds will benefit the Plainfield Area InterFaith Food Pantry. Visit InterFaith online to see what items are needed most.

Lives will be changed when you try some of the delicious food truck fare the Library is bringing this week! On Friday, 4/18, the Toasty Cheese mobile eatery will be visiting from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Check out Toasty's website for the amazing grilled cheese sandwich options! Then, on Saturday, 4/19, the Flirty Cupcake blue van will be in the Library's parking lot at 12:00 noon.
