    Conservation Plainfield Environmental Expo

    Saturday, May 9
    10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Plainfield Central High School Fieldhouse
    During Conservation Plainfield's largest event of the year, the Environmental Expo, you’ll find exhibitors with educational displays, demonstrations of green products and the opportunity to purchase rain barrels. You can also drop off recyclables, enter raffles and plan your visit around family entertainment including Dave DiNaso’s Traveling World of Reptiles and a presentation by Incredible Bats.

    We are excited to offer a new tool for online learning!  Gale Courses offers 350+ classes focused on professional development, technology skills, and personal enrichment. Created by Ed2Go, each of the six-week long courses are taught entirely online by expert instructors, and new sessions begin every month.  As a PPLD card holder in good standing, you can access these courses for free.

    New! Streaming Music

    The Library is excited to now offer streaming music through Freegal! Plainfield cardholders can stream for up to three hours per day and download up to five songs for week that are yours to keep. When you put your cursor over an album, you will see a “stream now” button come up. If you press that button on an album, the whole album will play in order. Freegal Music offers access to about 8 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists, and over 15,000 music videos.
